Help with a game

Email support@stupidstudios.games. Tell us which game, what you were doing, and your phone or computer and browser. For CardClassics, include your username (never your password). A screenshot helps.

Privacy, press and everything else

Privacy and data requests: support@stupidstudios.games. Press and business: hello@stupidstudios.games. Our privacy policy says what each game stores.

The Traveller

Where is my game saved?

In your browser, on your device. It saves by itself as you play and when you switch away. Nothing is stored on our servers, so we can't recover a lost save.

How do I move my save to another device or browser?

Open the game's menu and choose Copy save code. On the other device, open the menu, paste the code into Paste a save code and choose Load. Keep a copy of the code somewhere safe if you'd hate to lose your progress.

My save disappeared.

Browsers delete a site's saved data when you clear your browsing data, use a private window, or (in Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac) after about a week of using Safari without opening the game. Adding the game to your home screen helps keep it. If you have a save code, load it. Otherwise, sorry: there's no copy on our side.

How do I start again?

Open the menu and choose Erase. This deletes the save on this device for good, so copy your save code first if you might want it back.

The game is slow or the map is blank.

The Traveller needs a browser with WebGL 2: a recent Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Turn on hardware acceleration if it's off, close other heavy tabs, and update your browser. If it still doesn't work, email us your device and browser.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No account. You need a connection to load the game the first time; after that your browser keeps a copy.

CardClassics

Do I need an account?

You can play as a guest straight away. Guest accounts that aren't used for 12 months are deleted. Save your account (choose a username and password) to keep your shells, friends and stats on any device.

I forgot my password.

On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot password and we'll email a reset link, if you added and confirmed an email address. If you didn't, email support@stupidstudios.games with your username and we'll help you get back in.

How do voice messages work?

At a table with other people, hold the microphone button, talk, and let go to send (up to 30 seconds). Slide off the button to cancel. Only the people at that table hear it, and it's deleted when the table closes, or after a day at most. Your browser asks for the microphone the first time; you can turn voice messages off in Settings.

Someone is being rude or cheating.

Tap their name at the table or on their profile to mute, block or report them. Blocked players can't hear you or reach you, and you won't hear them. Reports go to a person on our team, who sees the reason and the last few chat lines at that table.

Can I buy shells?

No. Shells are the in-game currency you earn by playing, from the daily reward and from tournaments. They can't be bought with money or cashed out.

How do I turn notifications off?

In CardClassics' Settings, or in your browser's settings for the site.

I was disconnected in the middle of a game.

Open CardClassics again: you'll be taken back to your table if the game is still going. While you're away, a computer player takes a few turns for you so the table can carry on; if you don't come back in time, you're out of that game.

Delete your CardClassics account

You can delete your account, and the data that goes with it, at any time.

In the game

  1. Sign in to CardClassics.
  2. Open You, then Settings, then Privacy and data.
  3. Choose Delete your account and confirm. It happens straight away and can't be undone.

If you own a club, hand it over or close it first.

Without the game

If you can't sign in, email support@stupidstudios.games with the subject “Delete my CardClassics account”, from the email address on the account if it has one, and tell us the username. We'll confirm it's yours and delete it within 30 days.

What happens to your data

Your password, email, photo, settings, friends, blocks, clubs, notifications, notification subscriptions, mutes, devices, IP addresses and shells are deleted. Past matches and ratings stay so other players' results still add up, shown as “Deleted player”, and your username stays reserved. The privacy policy has the details.

The Traveller

The Traveller has no accounts and keeps nothing on our servers. To delete your game, choose Erase in its menu, or clear the site's data in your browser.
